About Road Station”Shirakawa-Go”

A roadside station close to Shirakawa-go IC of Tokai-Hokuriku Express way is a place filled with various exciting places where you can experience things such as a joyful collection of Shirakawa-go souvenirs, a walk around a farm stand, local restaurants known for their delicious food and dishes.We also have the famed ”Gasoo museum”(Free Admission) Which most of our visitors often considers one of the best highlights of their visit.

GASSHO MUSEUM

You may have heard about the distintive Gassho-zukuri style of building designed to withstand the harshest climate of this deep-snow region. Get to know everything there is to know about Gassho-zukuri. Designated as UNESCO World Heritage site, these exemplifies the wisdom and ingenuity of the people that once called this village home.
